Taser Used On Gouverneur Man

Police needed to taser a Gouverneur man who allegedly refused to leave a DeKalb home, got into a fight with a resident and ran off from police. Thirty four year old Harold Bishop III is facing numerous charges including second degree menacing, resisting arrest, and second degree criminal trespass, and second degree harassment. Bishop allegedly got into a confrontation with a resident of the home, swinging a steel pipe at him at one point. When police tried to take him into custody, bishop allegedly tried fleeing, at which point he was tasered. He was arraigned on the charges and ordered held on $400 bail.
