A Lewis County home suffered serious damage following a fire that occurred Wednesday afternoon in the Town of West Turin. Fire officials say they were called to a home on the Michigan Mills Road at around 2 pm yesterday. No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. The blaze heavily damaged the home. It's believed to have started in a downstairs closet and then spreading to the rest of the house. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
