A new Marist poll shows gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo is still pretty far ahead of his Republican rival Carl Paladino. The poll has Cuomo leading Paladino 53% to 38%. Officials say the two candidates remain in a dead heat upstate with Cuomo bringing in more voters downstate. The poll was taken before Paladino's run in with New York Post State Editor Fred Dicker.
