Hospice Receives State Grant For New Building

Construction work will soon begin on the new home for Hospice of Jefferson County. The non profit announcing that $3.3 million state grant is coming it's way, to allow for the building of a brand new Hospice residence and office building to be located on Gotham Street in Watertown near Thompson Park. Hospice is crediting state Senator Darrel Aubertine with securing the grant money for the project. Purcell Construction of Watertown will be the general contractor for the project. Site work will go to WD Bach Company in Clayton, and construction management will be undertaken Bernier Carr Engineering of Watertown. The total cost of the project is expected to be $4.3 million.
