Singers and vocalists across the north country will have the chance to display their talents at the New York State fair in Syracuse later this summer. NYS Fair organizers have announced a contest will be held to select 12 vocalists to sing the national anthem before the opening of the fair. Those looking to enter the contest may do so by submitting a three minute audition video to the NYS fair's facebook page no later than July 21. Interested singers may also send in an audition tape by mail or e-mail; that contact information is available on the fair's Facebook page.
